TabTrade Overview - The Good and the Catch

Tab Trade — What It Is

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

That last detail is relevant. It means the founder has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that coverage is solid.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.

FIX API is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be coming. That should make the platform set when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That says what kind of broker this is.

Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.

Regulation

This is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

That said. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this guarantee anything. It does factor into your decision.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Standard sign-up bonus. You put money in, they top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you commit.
